Your journey will start from your hotel in Marrakech at 7h00 AM, you’ll travel through the High Atlas Mountains and get the opportunity to discover mesmerizing berber villages and scenic landscapes along the way. The first big stop will be « Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah », the world heritage site that has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 films including ‘Gladiator ‘ and ‘indiana Jones’. You’ll continue to Ouarzazate and enjoy a walk to explore the Moroccan style of architecture in which the Kasbah of Taourirt are built, and have lunch.
Afterwards, you’ll drive through the Roses Valley, and the fascinating Skoura Palmery.
You’ll have dinner and then spend the night in a Moroccan hotel in Dades ValleyAfter a typical Moroccan breakfast, the departure from your hotel to Dades gorges will be at 8 a.m. You will arrive at the stunning Todra Gorge, where you will have free time to go on a trek along the canyons, the favorite place of mountain climbers.
Afterwards you will leave to Erfoud, there we’ll stop for lunch, after that, we’ll drive
DESERT TOUR TO MERZOUGA 4 DAYS
Day 1: Excursion from Marrakech to Ait Ben haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura Palm – Valley Of Roes – Dades Gorges
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Tenghir – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga(Night in desert)
to Merzouga. The arrival to the Merzouga Dunes is scheduled at around 4 o’clock, there, you’ll have a break at the swimming pool of the hotel, and then, you’ll get the opportunity to ride camels deeper into the desert landscape, to get in the camp.
Dinner and overnight in a Berber tented camp.
Day 3 : Merzouga Dunes – Tazarine – Agdaz – Ouarzazate
Early morning, you will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes, and then you’ll return by dromedaries to the hotel in Merzouga. Once back, you’ll have shower and breakfast, and then, you’ll meet the driver that will take you back from Merzouga to Ouarzazate via Tazarine and the Draa valley junction after crossing the small volcanic Atlas Mountains. You’ll have dinner and Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will start our journey by visiting the Cinema Studios in Ouarzazate, Afterwards; we will visit the universal Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as UNESCO has named it in 1987.
After lunch at the Kasbah, we will continue our way to Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka pass.
You’ll have a break for tea in the middle of the Atlas Mountains then we’ll drop you off at your hotel in Marrakech. We will arrive back to Marrakech ataround 18:00 pm.
